My name is Samantha. I’m a self-taught watercolor artist. I’m a recent transplant from coastal New England to the sunny desert of Arizona. I’m heavily inspired by nature and everything this natural world has to offer. I’ve always been drawn to art, from a young age. However, it wasn’t until the beginning of 2020 I began to turn my passions into a business. I realized painting was more than just a hobby for me, but rather a creative outlet I could use to add some beauty out into the world.

My work is truly from the heart. I am heavily influenced by nature and the places that fuel my heart, such as the Eastern coastline and desert landscapes. My wanderlust has me frolicking around the globe, so you will see my travels as inspiration as well.
the name
I was raised with music in my blood, especially from my dad. He gave me his collection of vinyls from his childhood and my favorite of them all was Moondance by Van Morrison. It's dusty, crackles with every song, and utterly perfect. I also have always been enchanted by the moon. Its strength can move our tides and our hearts. It represents feminine energy and balance.
What better way to spend an evening than dancing under the light of a full, brilliant moon?
